In a world where Facebook likes are the most valuable social media stat, it’s a perfect time to promote Instagram posts in a clever way.
“It’s a marketing opportunity for brands, it can be a marketing tool to boost their sales, or even get new customers,” said Katie DeLong, a marketing expert and blogger.
“It can be used as a marketing asset for Instagram or used as an asset to make people go on their own campaigns.”
So, how can you use Instagram posts to promote your business?
First of all, it is very important to be sure that your post is appropriate for your business, said DeLong.
“There is no such thing as a ‘right’ post, it just depends on the nature of your business.”
The first thing you need to do is create a promotional video.
This can be anything from a short video showing you how your product works to a longer, more professional video showing your business’ best-in-class services.
You can also use your own photos for your video, DeLong said.
The next step is to promote the post.
This can be an image, text or video.
You should use hashtags to tag your post, Delong said.
“People will retweet your posts and the more hashtags, the better,” she said.
“If you have a lot of content, make sure to include a lot more content.
There is no point in having more than 50 hashtags if it’s not a clear and engaging headline,” she added.
Finally, use Instagram’s social shares to promote.
“If you can reach a large audience through Instagram, you can increase your followers and reach your target audience,” she advised.
DeLong said you should keep in mind that there is a limit on how many times you can post on Instagram a day.
Once you have done this, your Instagram video should be optimized to show how you’ve managed your marketing campaign.

When promoting a product, “it’s always a good idea to use images of animals that you think will resonate with your target,” she explained.
While Instagram has been known to make headlines for some of its content, DeLoveland added that it can also be a useful tool to get people to take the time to look at your Instagram post.
You can use a logo and tag your posts with the hashtag #promote in your video.
It’s important to note that, while Instagram does allow you to use your business logo, the company recommends that you do not post a business logo on your post.
The best way to promote a post is to use a picture of your animal that you feel will be most relevant to your brand.
Instead of posting a picture on your Instagram account, you could use a photo of your goats head to highlight your brand image, DeBoede said.
“If there are lots of posts in your feed, it will be easier to find them, but it’s better to be creative with the posts that you post,” she continued. Finally you can use Instagram to promote posts that don’t require a lot, such as your own personal brand.
DeLong recommends using a photo that is related to your business or product.
“Use your own image or a picture from your favorite brand and post a link to your Instagram,” she suggested.
And if you want to create more opportunities for your brand to reach new customers, DeLover said it’s also important to include the hashtag ‘#promote’, which can be found in your post title.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to get your followers to take a look at a post, and DeLong believes that Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms for brands to reach their target audience.
